Descripció i Metodologia: |
Who said second parts were never good? In this second part of one of the most successful summer courses, we will learn some tools, techniques and resources that will help us improve our use of stories. We will learn how to memorize information much more effectively (not only stories), we will discover techniques to explore how our favorite stories are structured, we will try ICT tools that will help us record, edit and share these stories with our learners (and maybe other English teachers), and we will learn of new, awesome activities related to stories that we can incorporate into our teaching.
We will do all this in a very hands-on experience, with tutorials and step-by-step guides that will hopefully make what appeared to be impossible tasks, easy.

Continguts |
MODULE 1
Techniques to memorize stories effectively. In this part of the course we will provide the trainees with tools and techniques that will help them memorize stories so the do not have to read them when they tell them.
MODULE 2
Storytelling resources. The trainees will explore several resources that can be useful for storytelling. From YouTube channels to applications.
MODULE 3
Taking our stories outside of the school. If we learned something from the pandemic is that certain on-line teaching can be very effective and interesting. Storytelling can be one of these practices. The learners will learn how to record, edit and share their videos with their learners.
MODULE 4
Activities related to the stories. In this part of the course, the learners will realize that the activities we choose and design to exploit the language are as important as the stories we tell.

●Positive attainment of the course activities:
The trainees will have to create a teaching proposal across a story. They will have to record the story (previously memorized) and create the related activities. Each person will have to give constructive feedback to two other trainees.

Persones destinatàries |
Primary English teachers with a B2 minimum.
Requisits:
1. Disposar d'usuari XTEC actiu.
2. Haver certificat les activitats de formació adjudicades durant aquest curs acadèmic i l'anterior.
Criteris específics d’adjudicació. Les sol•licituds admeses s'ordenaran en funció de:
1.Vinculació al centre de treball 2.1.Funcionari 2.2.Interí 2.3. Substitut
2.Nivell de llengua C2,C1,B2.
Si ets docent d'un centre concertat, municipal o les acreditacions d’especialitat i/o nivell de llengua (C2, C1 o B2) requerides a la convocatòria no consten a l’ATRI, caldrà omplir aquest FORMULARI dins del període de sol•licitud.
